Now it's possible to explore the history of gay liberation right here in the Castro, thanks to the LGBT Historical Society.
The new LGBT History Museum at 2127 18th Street (between Badlands and Walgreens) has recently opened.
The exhibit - which changes periodically - encompasses videos, audios, pictures, files, maps, and even clothing.
